So back in November when sat in the hospice by mums side, my friend Ash sent me a text with the news that our good friend Sarah had gone missing. Unfortunately, a few days later they found her in the tube tunnel of Chalk Farm station and she had been hit by the northbound Northern line train. I write this post now as her funeral is finally taking place after the enquiry into her death has been complete.

A tough time for many people as Sarah was a dear friend to many. A salt of the Earth kind hearted and hilarious woman she will be deeply missed. Sarah was also a notable up and coming British contemporary artist and just before her death she had been in South Korea exhibiting her work. I didn't tell her about mum at the time as I didn't want to tell her sad news whilst she was away with work and then next thing you know, she herself was gone. A reminder not to delay speaking to people as you never know what could happen. Life is so fragile and nothing is permanent. So if you think of someone, just send the message…
