DJing at Hockley Hustle felt like a pivotal moment for the year and for this whole new trajectory. It is one of those Nottingham events that carries real weight, so getting to be part of it felt important. I was very nervous, especially playing after Curtz at Bar Eleven, but being part of the Acoustickle line-up made it all feel less hypothetical and more real. Like I am actually doing this DJ thing now. Standing behind the decks in that environment, reading the room, trusting my selections, something shifted. This is not just something I am experimenting with anymore. There is momentum now. There is growth. Each set sharpens instinct and confidence a little more.

On top of that I have a residency at Percy's in town, which I have actually been doing since July, and I am continuing to play Acoustickle shows and gigs for I'm Not From London too. Regular gigs rather than one-offs. That consistency changes everything. It gives space to refine a sound, build a following, take risks knowing there is another slot next month. It feels like the foundation of something sustainable. Not overnight success but steady building. DJing no longer feels like just a side hustle or a hobby.
