And now it is my birthday celebrations! I wasn't sure what I would do this year as between being so busy for work and down in Kent, I made little plans. Dad, his partner and I went to Roka for dinner on my birthday – which is one of my favourite restaurants. It was still so delicious and I highly recommend! Beforehand in the daytime, I went to the Natural History Museum to check out the 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year' exhibition. The NHM is one of my favourite places and the exhibition did not disappoint, it is amazing how many talented photographers there are. Some of the photography is just exceptional. As well as enjoying the photos, I also love scoping out what cameras people are using to take the images.

After dinner, I head to East London to meet some of the Nottingham girlies who have come to London for the weekend. So we are going to all stay at one of our friends in London and have a great girlie weekend together, so this has worked out very nicely. We head to Greenwich Park and have a great picnic on the Saturday, as well as doing touristy bits like riding the Thames boat which is always good fun. On the Sunday we went down to Columbia Rd glower market which was cute because not only do they have my favourite flowers in abundance (peonies btw) but mum would also often come here to get plants for the garden when we were younger. So I have lovely memories here of her coming here <3
