New Year, New Fears…
Just got back from Kent, where I spent Christmas with Dad and my sister, and going to spend the next few weeks figuring out whats next. My sister has asked me to head to Greece to look after Conchito, so I think I will spend a few months over there, possibly even stay there in Greece. It is a move I have always wanted to make but still unsure of what I want. I spent the last few years looking after mum so now it feels like there are many options but I also don't want to be as far away from family as I was when I was in Malawi, despite the fact I love it there.
Whilst I am back in Nottingham, I get to go to a few Christmas events, though for New Years Eve I am staying in as I am now working New Years Day at the Notts County football ground. Never been to a football club before so interesting to see. Had some oysters and champagne on NYE and didn't even make it to midnight!
I have also been spending time at the Bentinck Studio more recently, getting creative and making art, especially playing around with collage. Whilst back up north, I also make a cheeky visit to York to see my other cousins too. There is something so beautiful about York, a lovely city to visit. Finally I return back to Nottingham and super appreciate my good friend letting me her stay at hers in Nottingham whilst I sought my head out.
