One more cheeky Greece visit, because apparently I do not know how to sit still. It was not a grand trip, just a quick dip back into that familiar rhythm. Strong coffee, late dinners, warm air that lingers into the evening. Athens has a way of softening everything slightly. Even when life feels complicated elsewhere, being there steadies me.
It felt like borrowing a bit of light before heading back into decisions and responsibilities. Walking streets I know well, slipping between languages, feeling that dual sense of home. These short visits are not escapes so much as reminders. Of who I am outside of caregiving, outside of work, outside of big questions. Just me, moving through a city I love, for a few sun-soaked days.
