After Athens it was straight back into UK race season, and this time not just F1 at Silverstone but MotoGP as well. I had never properly watched MotoGP before but being there in person is something else. The sound alone is sharper, more relentless, and the speed feels different somehow, more exposed. It is intense in the best way.

For Silverstone I was working in The Wing this time, right above the pit lane. Which is honestly such a ridiculous vantage point. You can see the cars lining up, the pit crews moving like clockwork, the split second decisions unfolding below you. It is surreal plating up in hospitality while that level of precision and power is happening metres away. I also cannot help noticing that I keep getting stationed in better and better positions each time I come back. Either I am doing something right or I am just very lucky. Probably a bit of both.
