Ok, so back in Europe and more specifically in Greece! As mentioned before I did not want to return to the UK as I feel like I am done with England and they are expecting you to pay £2000 to quarantine to return, absolutely nuts, just because I am returning from a red list country. Even though most "red list countries" have had less cases than the UK.  I instead get escorted through Heathrow, to make sure I am definitely getting on my next flight to Athens, which makes me laugh. So it is totally ok to just go through the airport and interact with people ….

Anyways, my sister has gone to stay elsewhere so I can quarantine in the family flat without her, just in case. Less bothered about the coming from Malawi bit than the amount of people I will have interacted with en route to get here. So just taking precautions. She thankfully stocked me up with some food and of course that means feta cheese! The good stuff. Whilst at the house, I have been unpacking and putting my stuff away but I have been thinking more seriously about what is next for me. Bat conservation is not really a job here in Greece, so do I try and get into the industry here within the limited opportunities or do I do something else?
