Like I mentioned last blog, it is wedding season! Straight from Greece into Nicola's wedding in Ayia Napa with Isabella. I had never been to Cyprus before so was excited to visit as well as getting to celebrate with Nicola, who is actually one of my oldest friends. We have known each other since nursery at Greek School.
Cyprus was big energy from the start. Late nights, loads of dancing, chilling by the pool and a brilliant wedding. There were other old school friends there too and again it was just like time had never passed. The laughter still there, the jokes still rolling. There is something about weddings abroad that makes everything feel heightened, everyone is a bit more present, a bit more free.

While in Cyprus I also went scuba diving, which had been on my mind for ages. I have not dived since doing my Open Water in Malawi so it felt good to get back underwater. Completely different pace from the wedding madness. Quiet, weightless, just breath and blue. Slightly surreal being underwater after so much music and movement the night before but in the best possible way.
Then back to Athens, where I hung out with Dad, Reva and my cousin Maria who joined us for some end of summer sunshine. It has been lovely spending so much time in Greece this year. Really lovely actually.
