This week is fun and busy, back on site which is great for more field work which keeps me busy and happy. Also went to a friends birthday party in London, en route to site.

and no.. not mine! This year is exciting as we have two weddings in the family, the first one being our youngest cousin Josh..
I thought I would take the opportunity to head to London for a week, which is a refreshing change to all the quick visits I have been doing over the last few years..
With the job at the Bat Conservation Trust taking me into London a lot more this year, one of the unexpected joys has been the galleries. Wandering through rooms with Mum talking about brushstrokes and colour palettes, like when I was younger. Good for her too, it takes her mind off everything else for a while...
