So after getting back from Switzerland, we had a quick stop in at Nicolas before driving back up to Nottingham. The day after I was back at work and wishing to still be on holiday. It wouldn’t of been so bad as I was going to Venice later that week for my mums birthday… however, I have had an accident which almost left me blinded!!! So been a bit quiet again as I have had to have two operations on my left eye.. never though stitches in an eyeball was a thing…. Also meant I missed out on going to Venice but at least we did have a fondue recreation to cheer me up.

Been off work this whole month recovering and it has been so boring, I cannot even read or watch things for very long as it strains my good eye. It has been nice having visitors to keep me sane and I have gotten into ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’ a Korean TV show which is hilarious though the subtitles mean I can’t watch much in a go! A couple of days ago went with mum and Frances to the Nottingham Contemporary for some fun filled arts and crafts and of course we made a bat picture! Thankfully I am doing well in my recovery since my last op and hopefully won’t be long until I am back to normal and out in the field again! Sick of putting eye drops in…
